Our Mission
The Clayton Child Center and Clayton Academy programs provide a foundation for a nurturing, safe, and educational environment for children aged six weeks to fifteen years.
The staff assists children in developing a positive self-image with a strong foundation of physical, cognitive, and social skills to achieve a balanced educatin through developmentally appropriate customized teaching.
Our Philosophy
Clayton Child Center and Clayton Academy promotes an educational philosophy which seeks the following:
- To create a safe and wholesome environment where students enjoy living and learning.
- To provide a creative atmosphere that is conducive to fostering a balance among the social, physical, intellectual, and emotional development of each child.
- To identify and address individual educational needs by assessing students specific learning styles, and to provide a curriculum to guide students in reaching their potential.
- To welcome opportunities to work with parents and guardians through personalized classes and conferences, building a greater understanding of the child's growth, development and learning style.
- To promote a greater understanding and respect for ethnic, cultural, religious, economic, political and physical diversity, by recognizing these qualities as important elements of enriching community.
