The Clayton Child Center Infant/Toddler program was established in 1983. Our program relocated to #1 Oak Knoll Park in 1990 following a million dollar renovation changing the facilities to meet the needs of our children, staff and their families.
Children aged 6 weeks to 2 years attend the Infant/Toddler program. We are a not for profit, fully licensed early childcare center that is also nationally and state accredited. Our strong staff is experienced in early child development and dedicated to continued education.
The environment of our program is a warm, informal, family-like atmosphere where infant/toddlers can thrive in their personal development. A balanced curriculum is provided to include all areas of early child development. Each child is given the opportunity to grow and develop in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment.
We feel very strongly that staff and families must work together to provide for optimal development of the children. All lead teachers are certified parent educators through the Parents As Teachers Program. Throughout the years, teachers and families write goals and compare observations on growth and development during our "Goal Sharing Conferences". Parent seminars are also offered throughout the year.
We strive everyday to provide the highest quality program for young children and their families.
